Private 23638, 1st Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment. Killed in action at Gheluvelt, near Ypres 7 October 1917. Aged 20. Son of John and Sarah Taylor (nee Spencer) of Blue Bell, Forty Foot, Ramsey, Huntingdonshire Unmarried. Born 15 August 1897. Enlisted 22 November 1915 served with The Expeditionary Force in France and Flanders from 24 July 1916. Buried in Hooge Crater Cemetery, Ieper, Belgium. Plot XVII. Row C. Grave 4. TAYLOR, Sidney - Private, No 23638, 1st Battalion, (16th Foot), The Bedfordshire Regiment

Son of John Taylor, of Blue Bell, Forty-Foot Bridge, Ramsay, co.Huntingdon, by his wife Sarah, dau. of George Spencer, Farmer. Born St Marys, Ramsay aforesaid 15th Aug, 1897; educated Stonea, Wimblington, co. Cambridge; enlisted 22nd Nov, 1915; served with The Expeditionary Force in France and Flanders from 24th July, 1916 , and was killed in action at Gheluvelt, near Ypres, 7th Oct, 1917. Unm.
