Chatham Naval memorial, Kent. Ref. 6. (Special note: In the early
hours of the morning of 22 September 1914,
HMS Aboukir along with HMS Cressy & HMS Hogue were sunk
by torpedoes from a U-boat under the command of Otto Weddigen, in
the North Sea.)

of Ceylon on 5th April 1942, with a loss of 190 men.)
