                      Hyde - Essex County Constabulary.
 Served from 17th June 1913. Died 12th July 1918. Police 
                      Constable Alfred Hyde was the son of Joshua George and Sarah 
                      Hyde, of Littleworth, near Wilstead in Bedfordshire. He 
                      served with Essex County Constabulary from 17th June 1913 
                      to 17th November 1915. He died from disease on Friday, 12th 
                      July 1918 whilst serving as Private 1st Class 209333 Royal 
                      Air Force. He was aged 24 and unmarried. He was buried in 
                      the north part of Wilstead (All Saints) Churchyard in Bedfordshire.
