The
West Wycombe War Memorial is a simple stone cross on a stepped base
in the parish churchyard. It bears an inscription but no names. Inside
the parish church of St Lawrence is a marble plaque bearing the names
of the 75 men who died in the First World War – this includes
no less than 6 sets of brothers.
