In the cemtery at Bassingbourn-cum-Kneesworth stands a memorial fronted by two rows of Commwealth War Graves Commission graves. These are in two blocks the first block being the largest and contains the names of those men who died flying from Bassingbourn airfield in World War 2 intermingled with graves of the Bassingbourn-cum-Kneesworth dead of World War 2, the non-Bassingbourn-cum-Knessworth men are listed here and include Australian, Canadian and New Zealand airmen as well as British and is listed separately. The second, smaller block, contains the names of those men who died at the base since World War 2 and are listed here.
