The Dullingham war memorial can be found in the churchyard of St Mary’s Church, Church Close, Dullingham. It takes the form of a tall, Celtic style, wheel cross on A tapering plinth, with a two stepped base. There is a copy of St. Martin’s cross at Iona, on the east side, and revolving circles amongst which serpents intertwine; on the west side are scripture scenes surmounted by the infant Christ in a stable watched by an ox and an ass. The memorial was unveiled 6th April 1920. There are nineteen names listed for World War 1 and three for World War 2. The lettering on the memorial was restored in 1988.

BROWN	Harry	[Memorial states he died 7th October 1916] Private, 1^st Battalion, London Regiment (Royal Fusiliers). Died 8th October 1916. Aged 33. Son of Robert Brown, of Station Rd., Dullingham, Newmarket. Commemorated on THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France.
BROWN	Robert William	Probably: Private, 1^st Battalion, East Surrey Regiment. Died 14th November 1916. Buried in GORRE BRITISH AND INDIAN CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France.
BULLEN	Joseph	Sergeant, 7^th Battalion, Rifle Brigade,died 27/8/1917 age 19, commemorated: TYNE COT MEMORIAL, Zonnebeke, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Son of Henry and Alice Bullen, of Dullingham Ley, Newmarket. (Cpl. In CWGC).
BYE	Harry	[L/Cpl. on CWGC] Corporal, 1^st Battalion, Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derby Reg.), Died 4th March 1917. Commemorated on THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France.
CLAYDON	Edward	[Listed as Private on memorial] Gunner 122278, C Battery, 307^th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. Died of wounds (Gas poisoning) at Longfield Auxiliary Hospital, Little Aston, Sutton Coldfield, 14/11/1917. Age 23, Son of Edward Charles and Eliza Mary Claydon, of Dullingham. Brother of Horace (below). Before enlisting employed at Tilbury Docks and before that he was employed on the poultry farm at Lower Hare Park. Member of the Salvation Army. Buried: Dullingham Churchyard.
CLAYDON, [M.M.]	Horace	Lance Corporal, 1^st Battalion, Hertfordshire Regiment. Died of wounds (Gas poisoning) at 2nd Canadian Casualty Clearing Station 11.40am 3/11/1917. Age 26. Son of Edward and Eliza Mary Claydon, of Brinkley Rd., Dullingham, Newmarket. Brother of Edward (above). Awarded the Military Medal (M.M.). Before enlisting he was in the employ of Lady Barkworth at her seat in Herts., and previously he worked in the gardens at Lower Hare Park. Buried: LIJSSENTHOEK MILITARY CEMETERY, Poperinge, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
COOTES	George	Private, 20^th Battalion, Middlesex Regiment. Died 9/4/1918. Commemorated on PLOEGSTEERT MEMORIAL, Comines-Warneton, Hainaut, Belgium.
FARROW	Clifford Willis	Second Lieutenant, 3^rd Battalion attached 4^th Battalion, Dorsetshire Regiment. Died 9/4/1918. Aged 20. Eldest son of Martin Willis Farrow and Winifred Farrow, of The Cables, Dullingham, Newmarket, Cambs. buried: RAMLEH WAR CEMETERY, Israel.
GOODACRE	Alfred W	Private 7^th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Died 9th August 1916. Aged 26. Son of George and Alice Goodacre, of Flackwell Heath, High Wycombe, Bucks. Buried in POZIERES BRITISH CEMETERY, OVILLERS-LA BOISSELLE, Somme, France.
GRAVES	Arthur	Private, 11^th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Died 1st July 1916. Age 22. Son of Matthew Graves, of 3, Cross Green, Dullingham, Cambs. Commemorated onTHIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France.
GRAVES	George	Lance Corporal. Died 27/5/1918 - Probably: Pte. George Albert Graves, 1^st/4^th Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers, commemorated: SOISSONS MEMORIAL, Aisne, France.
JEFFERY	Ernest	Private. Died 29th September 1918. Probably: Pte. E F Jeffery, 6^th Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment. Died 29/9/1918. Buried in UNICORN CEMETERY, VEND'HUILE, Aisne, France.
MANNING	Amos Bertie	Private, 9^th Battalion, Duke of Wellington’s (West Riding Reg.), Died 23/7/1918. Age 19. Buried in BAGNEUX BRITISH CEMETERY, GEZAINCOURT, Somme, France. Son of William and Mary Manning, of Station Rd., Dullingham, Newmarket.
PEARMAN	Dyson	Private 25353, 1^st Garrison Battalion,, Northumberland Fusiliers. Died 3/9/1919. Age 27, buried: DULLINGHAM (ST. MARY) CHURCHYARD, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom. Son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Pearman, of Cross Green, Dullingham.
SMITH	John Stanley	Private, 2^nd Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Died 2/10/1918. Age 24, buried: MONS COMMUNAL CEMETERY, Mons, Hainaut, Belgium. Son of E. and J. W. Smith, of Mill Hill, Fulbourn, Cambridge. Native of Dullingham, Cambridge.
SMITH	William [Frederick]	[Memorial states Private. Died 14/12/1917. - date in correct] Private 20802, 7th Battalion, King's (Shropshire Light Infantry). Died of wounds 24 December 1917. Aged 27. Born and resident Dullingham, enlisted Newmarket. Son on Charles William and Emmaline Smith of Dullingham, husband of Dorothy Mary (nee HEARN) later of 27 Galton Street, Paddington, London. Formerly 34785, Suffolk Regiment. Buried in MORY ABBEY MILITARY CEMETERY, MORY, Pas de Calais, France. Plot II. Row C. Grave 13.
SOUTHGATE	Sidney	Private, 24^th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers, Died 4/9/1917. Age 41, buried: CALAIS SOUTHERN CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France.
TURNER	Frederick	Private. Died 20th September 1915
WEBB	William J.	Private 12766, 2nd Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. 3rd Division. Killed in action on the Somme 20th July 1916. Brother of Mrs A.Dodd of 29 Trenholme Road, Anerley, S.London. Buried in Caterpillar Valley Cemetery F.432

SAYERS	George Arthur	L/Cpl., 1^st Battalion, Cambridgeshire Regiment. d 10/2/1942, age 28, commemorated: SINGAPORE MEMORIAL, Singapore. Son of Charles William and Georgina Esther Sayer, of East Lavington, Sussex.
WADE	William Reuben	Sergeant, 1^st Battalion, Cambridgeshire Regiment. died 14/2/1942 in the final battle for Singapore, age 26, buried: KRANJI WAR CEMETERY, Singapore.
