Son of Richard and Fanny Aspland; husband of Eva Carrie (nee Fisk) Aspland (born 27 April 1890), of "Hardcroft," Fordham Road, Soham, Cambs, married July to September Quarter 1916 in Newmarket Registration District, Cambridgeshire. Admitted to Ely, Market Street Infants' School 19 May 1895, son of Richard Aspland, resident West Fen Road. In the 1901 census he was aged 9, born Ely, Cambridgeshire, son of Richard and Frances Aspland, resident West End, Ely St Mary (Isle of Ely), Ely, Cambridgeshire. In the 1911 census he was aged 19, born Ely, Cambridgeshire, a Gas Clerk, son of Richard and Frances Aspland, resident West End, Ely, Ely St Mary, Cambridgeshire. In the 1914 Electoral Register for Ely St Mary he was resident at Hilla Lane, Ely with is father Richard Aspland.
