There is no War memorial in the village or church, the following names are taken from the County First World War memorial in Ely Cathedral:

possibly William Henry Pauley, Private 7509, "D" Company, 1st Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment. Killed in action 9 November 1914 in France & Flanders. Aged 29. Born Waterbeach, enlisted St Ives, Hunts, resident Peterborough. Son of Francis and Hannah Pauley, of Lattenbury Hill, St. Ives, Hunts; husband of Ethel Maud Pauley, of 7, Crawthorne St., Peterborough. No known grave. Commemorated on LE TOURET MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France. Panel 10 and 11.

SMITH

Percy Frederick

Listed in records as Frederick Smith, Private 43064, 1st Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment formerly 1180, Huntingdonshire Cyclist Battalion. Died on service 26 April 1917. Aged 22. Born Hilton, Hunts, resident Papworth St. Agnes, Cambs, enlisted Huntingdon. Son of Mrs. Emily Jane Smith, of Papworth Agnes, Cambs. Buried in POINT-DU-JOUR MILITARY CEMETERY, ATHIES, Pas de Calais, France. Plot IV. Row D. Grave 20.

William Phillip Arthur

Private 10567728, Royal Army Ordnance Corps. Died 9 February 1942. Aged 31.  Son of William James & Grace Marion Pawley of Graveley. Buried in PAPWORTH ST. AGNES (ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST) CHURCHYARD, Cambridgeshire.
