Son of William and Catherine Davids; husband of Agnes Davids, of Streatham, London. In the 1939 Register he was a Builder's Labourer, married to Agnes, resident 10 Kitson Road, Walworth, Southwark, Camberwell, London. No known grave. Commemorated on MEDJEZ-EL-BAB MEMORIAL, Tunisia. Sergeant 1021064, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Died 17 July 1946. Aged 26. Son of John and Margaret Simpson McLean Deans, of Alloa. Buried in ALLOA (SUNNYSIDE) CEMETERY, Clackmannashire. Section 3. Grave 246.
DERRICK Edward [Jack]
[Listed as Petty Officer on memorial] Leading Stoker P/KX 91780, H.M.L.C.G.(L) 15 (Landing Craft), Royal Navy. Died at sea off St. Annes Head, Milford Haven 25 April 1943. Aged 24. Born 1 September 1918. Son of Thomas and Agnes Kelso Derrick; husband of Marion Derrick, of Silksworth, Co. Durham. No known grave. Commemorated on PORTSMOUTH NAVAL MEMORIAL, Hampshire. Sergeant (Air Gunner) 1821635, 138 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Died flying on night operations from R.A.F. Tempsford on Special Operations Executive (S.O.E.) Operation Donald 26, in a Handley Page Halifax V, serial number, LL466, when it crashed and caught fire on outbound leg at Doudeville 8 June 1944. Aged 20.
