NEWTON ST
CYRES WAR MEMORIAL
World
War 1 & 2 - Detailed information
Compiled
and copyright © Paula & Dave Kennington 2006
The
memorial is located inside the parish church of St. Cyr and St. Julitta.
It takes the form of a plaque next to the main lecturn. Those remembered
are separated into the force in which they served. The list is not alphabetical
and does not distinguish between the wars. An attempt has been made
to separate the for the First and Second World Wars into two lists which
has left a thrid of unknowns.
