The Powderham memorial is located outside the main gate to the churchyard. It takes the form of a stepped base with plinth upon which is mounted a granite cross. There are nine names for World War 1 and four for World War 2.

[Spelt DEALEY on CWGC] Private 10347, "D" Company, 8th (Service) Battalion, Devonshire Regiment. Killed in action 14th July 1916. Aged 20. Born Eden Bridge, Kent, enlisted Exeter. Son of William and Julia Dealey. No known grave. Commemorated on THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Pier and Face 1 C.

Private 7275, 1st Battalion, Devonshire Regiment. Killed in action 14th January 1915. Aged 28. Born and resident Kenn, enlisted Exeter. Son of Richard and Ann Hole, of Kenn, Bristol; husband of Susannah Hole, of Powderham, Exeter. No known grave. Commemorated on YPRES (MENIN GATE) MEMORIAL, Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Panel 21.

Archibald

Private 10533, 8th (Service) Battalion, Devonshire Regiment. Killed in action 25th September 1915. Aged 28. Born and enlisted Exeter, resident Powderham. Son of John Henry and Mary Jane Soper, of Discombes, Powderham, Exeter. No known grave. Commemorated on LOOS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France. Panel 35 to 37.

Sergeant (Pilot) 1385416, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Died 30th October 1942. Aged 19. Son of Sidney and Helen Katharine Gilbert, of Kenton. Buried north-east of the church in ST. CLEMENT CHURCHYARD, POWDERHAM, Devon.
