The
Blaenrhondda war memorial ison the West bank of the river Rhondda in
a railed enclosure on Blaenrhondda Road. It takes the form of a granite
obelisk on square concrete base with a two-stage plinth, there are metal
panels in the sides of the base bearing the inscription in Welsh and
English. Any names are as yet to be transcribed would be welcome additions.
Part of the inscription reads "mewn angof ni chant fod" which
translated means "they cannot be a forgotten memory".
