The
memorial is to be found within the parish church of St. Nicholas, Chawton,
East hampshire. It takes the form of a plain rectangular, white albaster,
tablet set within a pediment frame of brown marble; the inscriptions
are in balck lettering on white with the coloured regimental badges
depicted down both the left and right hand sides of the frame. There
are 22 names listed for World War 1 only. The memorial was first dedicated
on 1 August 1920.
