| Leonard 
                Bundy was born 12th January 1884, son of George and Mary Bundy, 
                of Eaton Socon, St. Neots, Hunts. He Enlisted 23rd September 1914 
                by which time his father was dead. At the time of his enlistment 
                he was employed as a hospital attendant. He attained the rank 
                of Corporal, 17083 No. 4 Coy, 7th Bn., Canadian Infantry (British 
                Columbia Regt.) and died on Saturday, 24th April 1915, aged 31. 
                He is commemorated on the YPRES (MENIN GATE) MEMORIAL, Ieper,

| From 
                his various papers we can see that when he enlisted he was 5ft 
                11½ins, with a 39 inch chest. He had a scar on his left 
                elbow. His eyes were grey and his hair brown. His religion was

| The 
                Casualty - Active Service Form shows that Leonard was made up 
                to Corporal on 25th September 1914 and then on 24th April 1915 
                he was wounded and missing in action. By nthe 31st May 1916, for 
                official purposes, he was presumed to have died on or since 24th

| Sadly 
                all that remained was his record of pay. Many men died and no 
                remains were found. For these men there is no official grave just
