Algar BENTON (alias Joseph BLAKE)
|
Recorded by the Rector in his list of parishioners
in 1915, as follows. "Algar Benton (alias Joseph Blake).
He was living with Mr & Mrs Sallis-Walker, 3 (asserted) adopted
children named Bidwell, and William Cawthorn at Coldharbour Farm".
It seems possible that he was enlisted under his other name.
