Panel reference - Bay 1.

Henry and another Lynsted casualty William Gambrill have consecutive Kent Yeomanry Regimental / Household Battalion Regimental numbers only a few digits apart. They were probably very close mates that enlisted together.

Private 35318, 13th (Service) Battalion (Forest of Dean) (Pioneers). Gloucestershire Regiment. Formerly (277481) Royal Engineers. Died 22nd march 1918. Born Stone, Kent. Enlisted Woolwich.

Another man that appears NOT to have been placed on the CWGC indexes. This is surprising because his name IS listed in SDGW as being killed in action!

Panel reference - Bay 10.

Awarded the Military Medal (MM) for bravery in the field.
