The
memorials and roll of honour are to be found within the Church of
St Andrew. The first memorial is to the men of the parish of Epworth;
it takes the form of a rectangular-headed, bronze, plaque mounted
on a rectangular-headed, slate, backboard with the inscription in
relief and also a figure of St Andrew within a wreath in relief at
top centre. This plaque was designed by Mr. T. Ellison and maufactured
by Birmingham Guild. There are 43 names listed. It was unveiled 21
July 1920. The scond memorial is on the wall to the right of the World
War 1 memorial and takes the form of a wooden frame surrounding a
brass plaque listing the names of 7 men who fell in World War 2. The
third memorial takes the form of a Roll of Honour in a glazed, and
framed, wall-mounted, paper calligraphed Roll of Honour, on the wall
below the First World War memorial, bearing the flags of the Allies
at the top, centre, the USA, left, and Italy, right.
