GRASBY WAR MEMORIAL

World War 1 & 2 - Roll of Honour with detailed information
Compiled and Copyright © Bill Ball 2022

In All Saints Church, Grasby, can be found an engraved white stone plaque commemorating four men killed in World War 1. Beneath this a framed glazed roll of honour document records the names of 28 men who served in World War 1. In the Village Hall there is a framed glazed Roll of Honour of those who served in WW1, with the 44 names cut out of wood in fretwork. The 15 not included in the Roll of Honour in the church are marked as '*'. Some lettering is hard to identify, so there may be mistranscribed entries.
