The
memorial for Hatton can be found on the north side of the nave in
St Stephen's church, Hatton. The memorial takes the form of a wall
mounted plain stone tablet with stone brackets along bottom edge with
a quotation in capitalised italics. There is one name for World War
1 and one name for World War 2.

on memorial). Died 6th November (9th October on memorial) 1918,
aged 36 years (at Ypres on memorial). Son of John and Mary Topliss,
husband of Beatrice M Tideswell (formerly Topliss) of Budby, Newark,
Notts. Born Hatton and enlisted Louth, Lincs. Commemorated POZNAN
OLD GARRISON CEMETERY. IV.A.5. |

1941, aged 24 years (in Battle of Britain on memorial). Son of John
