LANGRICK WAR MEMORIAL

World War 1 & 2 - Roll of Honour with detailed information
Compiled and Copyright © Michael Peck 2008

The memorial is located in St Margaret of Scotalnd churchyard and takes the form of a cross, with a sculpture of Christ being crucified, on a long shaft on an octagonal base with a two-stepped base. There are crests sculpted on the base and the inscriptions are on metal plates that have eroded and become unreadable. Battle locations appear to be inscribed around 8 sides of the monument base with Aisne, Jutland, Somme and Ypres visible but many of the others are eroded and unreadable. There are names for both World War 1 and World War 2.
