The memorial is to be found outside the church of St Nicholas and takes the form of a stone cross mounted on an octagonal column which in turn stands on a square base; the whole is surorunded by metal rails. There are 20 names for World War 1 and 3 for World War 2. In 1987 the memorial was cleaned and the lettering re-painted. There is a further Roll of Honour in the church which gives forenames, there are a few anomalies with the exterior memorial inlcuding one man who is not on the memorial.
