The
Ulceby by Alford (Ulceby cum Fordington) war memorials can be found
in All Saints Church, Ulceby. The World War 1 memorial takes the form
of a metal plaque mounted onto a wood backboard with incised inscription.
There is a cross on a banner at the top of the backboard and a carved
laurel wreath at the base of the backboard. There are 7 names listed.
it was unveiled and dedicated 2nd May 1920; the wood carver was Mr Baker.
Details were to be found in the Lincolnshire Chronicle 8th May 1920.
The World War 2 memorial memorial takes the form of a brass plaque mounted
onto a wooden backboard; manufactured by F Osborne & Co. Ltd. There
are 2 names.
