HAMMERSMITH WAR MEMORIAL

The memorial stands on Shepherd's Bush Common, Shepherd's Bush. It takes the form of a winged bronze figure of Peace on a small hemisphere, with a sword in the right hand, pointing downward, and a laurel wreath in the left hand. The whole stands on a Portland stone pedestal. There are no names listed. The memorial was unveiled on 11th November 1922 by General Charles Munro.
