Compiled and Copyright © Janice Thomson 2018

Barroway Drove is a village in the parish of Stow Bardolph in Norfolk. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of King's Lynn and West Norfolk. The village lies on the eastern edge of The Fens and is notable for its lack of amenities and poor quality roads. Barroway Drove Village Hall is the central hub of the community. On 11th November 2018 after nearly 3 years research a new memorial was unveiled in the foyer of Barroway Drove Village Hall, 142 The Drove, Barroway Drove, Downham Market, Norfolk, PE38 0AL. This is a brass plaque with a wood surround and lists casualties of WW1 and WW2. There are 15 names listed for World War 1.
