BURGH NEXT AYLSHAM WAR MEMORIAL

World War 1 - Detailed Information
Compiled and Copyright © Transcribed and researched Steve Smith 2009

On the A140, heading towards Cromer, you will pass Aylsham. At the crossroads for Burgh Road and The Street turn right onto The Street. The memorial can be found as you enter Burgh Next Aylsham on the corner of Wood Lane, which is situated on your left. The memorial takes the form of a Celtic cross mounted on a plinth which in turn is mounted on a concrete base, angled to fit snugly into the roadside bank.
