The Grimston War Memorial is to be found outside St Botolph's Church, Grimston. It takes the form of an elaborate and finely worked wheel cross standing on an octagonal plinth with a three stepped base. There are 37 names for World War 1 and 2 for World War 2. The memorial was restored in 1990.

Husband of Mrs Susannah E. Boldero, of The Limes, Grimston, near Kings Lynn; married in the Freebridge Lynn Registration District 1917. In the 1901 census he was aged 14, born Grimston, son of Abraham and Georgina Boldero, resident Golston, Grimston, Freebridge Lynn, Norfolk. In the 1911 census he was aged 24, born Grimston, resident with his parents, Abraham and Georgina Boldero, in Grimston, Kings Lynn, Norfolk. Joined the Army Reserve 26 February 1916, Royal Naval Volunteeer Reserve 28 June 1917, mobilised 28 June 1917, 3rd Reserve 29 June 1917, Hood Battalion 30 October 1917. No known grave. In the 1901 census he was aged 16, born West Newton, Norfolk, an Agricultural Labourer, son of Robert and Martha Rumbles, resident with his parents in The Lime Kilns, Gayton, Freebridge Lynn, Norfolk.
