The
memorial is situated to the left of entrance to churchyard of St. Mary
in village of Holme-Next-The-Sea and is inscribed on all four sides.
Within the church there are two rolls of honour which can be found on
the right within the nave. One is highly painted hand-written roll of
honour faded but seems to have the same names as on memorial and the
other is a hand-written, framed roll, with additional names to reverse
of the roll of honour.
The
World War 1 names from the memorial are then followed with the names from
the Roll of Honour which are then followed by the names from the war memorial
for Waorld War 2. Following this is the Roll of Honour including those
who severed and those who died.
THIS
MEMORIAL WAS ERECTED
BY THE PARISHIONERS.
