CORBYN	Bertie Charles	Royal Garrison Artillery. Unable to identify Bertie Charles Corbyn, possibly mistaken forename and should read Bertie Herbert Corbyn. Gunner 35306. 282nd Siege Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery. Killed in action 29th July 1917. Parentage unproven. Born c1892 (as census) Belaugh (as SDGW, born Wood Green, MDX as 1901 and no entry for birth place 1911), enlisted Norwich and resident Belaugh, Norfolk. Commemorated Maple Leaf Cemetery. L.3. Note: birth not found. 1901/1911 with Henry Sutton and Martha Corbyn (nee Chenery) in Belaugh. Property to: Henry Corbyn (described as ‘Foster Father’ or ‘Uncle’ in records).

Son of Henry and Martha Corbyn of Mill House Farm, Hoveton, Norfolk (as CWGC, which Hoveton unspecified). Born 1894 Belaugh and enlisted Coltishall, Norfolk. Commemorated Vermelles British Cemetery. Stepson of Alfred Nolleth, and noted as ‘Father’ in records) of North Farm, Hoveton St John, Norfolk (as 1919 army record). Born 9th December 1893 East Harling and enlisted 9th September 1914 Norwich, Norfolk. Commemorated White House Cemetery. I.I.19.
FELSTEAD	John Robert	Norfolk Regiment. Private 3/10245. 7th Battalion, Norfolk Regiment. Died of wounds 23rd September 1917. Son of Samuel and Sarah Ann Felstead. HILTON	Ernest John	Derbyshire Yeomanry. Mistaken forename and should read Ernest James Hilton. Private 42985. 14th Battalion, Durham Light Infantry, formerly 3198 Derbyshire Yeomanry. Killed in action 21st April 1917. Son of George and (the late) Annie Maria Hilton of Broad Lane, Little Plumstead. Norfolk (as CWGC, of The Drive, Hoveton St John as 1911). Born 30th December 1896 South Walsham, Norfolk, enlisted 29th February 1916 Derby, DBY (transferred to Durham Light Infantry 11th October 1916) and resident Norfolk (place unspecified). Son of Alfred and Eliza Nolleth of Hall Farm, Mautby, Norfolk. Born 8th September 1898 East Harling, enlisted Wroxham (army record notes less than 6 months service) and resident Norfolk (place unspecified). Commemorated Hoveton St John Churchyard.
