Knapton
is situated north east of North Walsham, just a short distance from
the coast. The Memorial takes the form of a rough hewn stone cross with
a semi-circular plinth, surmounted by cross, in the churchyard of St
Peter and St Paul Church, St Peters Close, Knapton. Full names and Regiments
are given. The inscription is on the front face of the plinth. there
are seven names for World War 1 and three for World War 2.
