This
memorial stands in the churchyard of All Saints Church,Main Road, Narborough,
Norfolk. It takes the form of a rough hewn, granite, Celtic cross standing
on a plinth on a two stepped base; the whole id enclosed by a stoned
area enclosed by rough hewn, low walls; a cross of sacrifice appears
on the front face. The inscrption on the front face and the names are
relevant to World War 1 (11 names) and the names and inscrption on the
rear are rlevant to World War 2 (6 names).

He enlisted in January 1917. Buried with military honours, the escort
being provided by members of the Royal Air Force from the Narborough
aerodrome, in the South-West corner of NARBOROUGH (ALL SAINTS) CHURCHYARD,
