Sergeant 1625175, 104 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Country of service United Kingdom. Lost in action while based at Abu Sueir, Egypt, 10 November 1945. Resident Walpole Island. His father Robert was a blacksmith and owned a tiny village shop. His mother died when the family were young and an Aunt in Sutton Bridge brought several of the family up, and he actually joined up whilst living in Sutton Bridge. No known grave.
