Next of kin given as Mrs. S. F. Bell, of Westcroft, Oxenden Street, Herne Bay, Kent. Passed fit 1 December 1915, attested 3 December 1915, aged 31 years 7 months, resident West Bilney, King's Lynn, Norfolk, appointed Lance Corporal 18 October 1917. Height 5 feet 11 inches, chest 38 inches. Embarked Sothampton 21 April 1916, disembarked Rouen, France 22 April 1916, joined battalion in the field 27 April 1916, admitted to Military Hospital with influenza 9 February 1917, discharged 19 February 1917. In the 1901 census he was aged 10, born West Bilney, Norfolk, resident with his parents, William and Susanna, in Lynn Road, West Bilney, Freebridge Lynn, Norfolk. In the 1911 census he was aged 20, born West Bilney, Norfolk, resident with his parents, William and Susanna, in West Bilney, Freebridge Lynn, Norfolk. No known grave.
