The
Yelverton and Alpington war memorial can be found within the church.
It takes the form of an ornate, canopied, wooden tablet, affixed to
the interior church wall. There is also a memorial window, within St.
Mary's Church, commemorating the residents of Yelverton and Alpington
who were killed or missing in the First World War. The 15 names listed
are in no apparent order but have been sorted here into alphabetical
order for ease of reading and research.
