Northants. Farmer by trade; unmarried. Enlisted and passed fit 6th
December 1915 at Vancouver, aged 26 years 2 months; height 5 feet
4½ inches, girth 36 inches, complexion dark, eyes brown,
hair dark brown; religion Church of England. (National Archives
