Chatton
is on the B6348, just west of the A1 . The memorial stands on the village
green at Chatton. It takes the form of a two-stepped base surmounted
by a square pedestal, a tapering shaft and a plain cross all from stone.
The inscription is carved on three sides of the pedestal and a low chain
link fence has been placed around the monument. There are 12 names listed
for World War 1 and 6 for World War 2.
