and Thirston. The memorial itself is set back on its own paved area
and is in the form of a Celtic Cross. The names are listed by location,
forename and surname. The names for World War 1 surrund the base of
the memorial and for World War 2 and extra tablet has been placed in
front of the memorial.

11.16W and caught fire. She sank the following day with the loss
of 35 lives, there were 7 survivors. |
