The
town memorial for Tweedmouth stands besise the River Tweed near to the
bridge in Tweedmouth, Berwick Upon Tweed. It covers the First World
War, Second World War and the Falklands Conflict. It takes the form
of a three=stepped pedestal with a bronze angel kneeling mounted on
a tall, angular, plinth with a stepped base. The inscription is on bronze
plaques on the sides of the plinth. There are 117 names listed for World
War 1, 3 for World War 2 and 1 for the Falklands Conflict (1982).
