Private 201754, 1st/4th Battalion, Welsh Regiment. Killed in action in Egypt 26th March 1917. Aged 26. Born Pentre, enlisted Tonypandy. Son of Thomas and Eliza Ann Meredith, of Penrhulais, Llanfaradd, Builth Wells, Breconshire. Commemorated on JERUSALEM MEMORIAL, Israel. Panels 30 to 32.

Private 239036, 1st/1st Battalion, Herefordshire Regiment. Killed in action in Egypt 6th November 1917. Born Llanfaredd, enlisted Glasbury, resident Boughrood. Buried in BEERSHEBA WAR CEMETERY, Israel. Row E. Grave 66.
