Cambridgeshire Regiment Awards 1914-1918

Copyright © Cliff Brown 2000

Some of these awards, most notably those of Lieutenant-Colonel Saint and Sergeant Dockerill, can be seen at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, in the Cambridgeshire Regiment section of the Land Warfare Hall.

Others in local museums, such as those of Sergeant Rowe loaned to Wisbech & Fenland Museum. An unknown number are with relatives, including those of the Company Sergeant Major Betts, while there are a substantial number in the hands of private collectors. Inevitably some will have been lost.

For information, such as citations, for these soldiers, contact Cliff Brown, (cambswfa@yahoo.co.uk). Note: LG is the date the award appeared in the London Gazette.
