ALL OF THIS PARISH. THESE FELL IN THE GREAT EUROPEAN WAR 1914 – 1918.
AT THE CALL OF KING AND COUNTRY THEY LEFT ALL THAT WAS DEAR TO THEM,
ENDURED HARDSHIPS, FACED DANGERS AND FINALLY PASSED OUT OF THE SIGHT OF MAN
BY THE PATH OF DUTY AND SELF SACRIFICE GIVING UP THEIR OWN LIVES THAT OTHERS
MIGHT LIVE IN FREEDOM.
LET THOSE WHO COME AFTER SEE TO IT THAT THEIR NAMES BE NOT FORGOTTEN

TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN EVERLASTING MEMORY OF
THOSE OF THIS PARISH WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR.
