The war memorial tablet is to be found within the church porch of St
Mary Magdalene, Ditcheat, Mendip, Somerset. It takes the form of a white
inscription tablet with a triangular pediment mounted onto black painted
wooden backboard; there is an additional tablet for World War 2 also
mounted onto a black painted wooden backboard that is placed below it.
There are 16 names for World War 1 and 4 names for World War 2. There
is also an external memorial that takes the form of a three-stepped
base surmounted by octagonal plinth, shaft and stylised wheel cross
with the inscription on the 6 o'clock face of the plinth and on a tablet
at the foot of the base.
