The Stoke St Gregory memorials are to be found in St Greory's Church and in the Baptish Chapel. The World War 1 memorial in St Gregory's church is in the form of a marble backboard on which is a brass plate containing the inscriptions, 22 names by surname then Regiment; the memorial was manufactured by Messrs. W J Southwood & Co. The World War 2 memorial in St Gregory's church is a wooden backboard with a brass plate affixed containing the inscriptions, 4 names by surname then Regiment, this was also manufactured by Messrs. W J Southwood & Co. No details of the Baptist Church memorial are available.

[Listed as LG on memorial] Private 28925, 7th Battalion, Prince Albert's (Somerset Light Infantry). Killed in action 23rd March 1918. Aged 19. Born Stoke St Gregory, enlisted Taunton, resident Buroughbridge. Son of George William and Kate Broom, of Stathe Corner, Barrowbridge, Bridgewater. Formerly 29757, Dorsetshire Regiment. No known grave. Commemorated on POZIERES MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Panel 25 and 26.

Private 41791, 7th Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. Killed in action 6th August 1917. Aged 19. Born Lyng, near Taunton, enlisted Taunton, resident Bridgwater. Son of Frank and Beatrice Annie Champion, of Burrowbridge, Bridgwater, Somerset. Formerly 30724, Prince Albert's (Somerset Light Infantry). No known grave.
