The
Stoke St Gregory memorials are to be found in St Greory's Church and
in the Baptish Chapel. The World War 1 memorial in St Gregory's church
is in the form of a marble backboard on which is a brass plate containing
the inscriptions, 22 names by surname then Regiment; the memorial was
manufactured by Messrs. W J Southwood & Co. The World War 2 memorial
in St Gregory's church is a wooden backboard with a brass plate affixed
containing the inscriptions, 4 names by surname then Regiment, this
was also manufactured by Messrs. W J Southwood & Co. No details
of the Baptist Church memorial are available.
