The war memorial is located beside the entrance gate to the parish church. It has no names as nobody died from the village in either World War 1 or World War 2.

Dedication of the War Memorial was on Sunday the 28 August 2006
By the Reverend Margaret Jackson.

The Women’s Institute decided to design a War Memorial for the village although this was one of the few villages that did not suffer any losses.

The memorial was designed by Mark Heaton and was set in place by the local stonemason Trevor Wragg
