The Blundeston war memorial is located at St Mary’s Church, Church
Road, Blundeston. There are two memorials, A Celtic cross on a three-stepped
based that is in the church yard and two boards within the church. The
WW2 board hanging underneath the WW1 board with the British Legion crest
above.

for 12 years. Height 5 feet 81/8 inches,
chest 35 inches, dark brown hair, blue eyes, complexion fair fresh.
Before enlistment he was a farm labourer. In the 1901 census he
was aged 7, born Blundeston, resident with his parents, Charles
H and Emily Fox, in Flixton Road, Blundeston, Mutford, Suffolk.
