The
Rendlesham war memorial can be found at the parish church and takes
the form of a Portland stone plaque as a pediment with two supporting
pillars. It contains the name of 8 men who gave their lives during World
War 1. It was unveiled on 21st March 1920, the dedication being by Canon
W T Farmiloe. The memorial was sponsored by local businesses at a cost
of £35; the mason was Mr E E Saunders.
