BRETT	William James	[Listed as James William BRETT on CWGC & SDGW] Private 23659, 13th Battalion, Durham Light Infantry. Died of wounds 8 October 1915. Aged 20. Born Whitechapel, London, enlisted Darlington, resident Richmond. Son of Harry and Eliza Brett, of Harleston Green, Stowmarket, Suffolk. In the 1911 census he is listed as James Brett, the son of Harry & Eliza Brett, unmarried, aged 17, Farm Labourer, born Islington, London, resident Shelland, Woolpit, Suffolk. Buried in SAILLY-SUR-LA-LYS CANADIAN CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France. Plot I. Row E. Grave 104.
BUXTON	Samuel	Suffolk Regiment. In 1911 census Samuel Buxton was the son of Thomas & Anna Buxton, aged 23, a Labourer, born Rattlesden, resident Shelland, Woolpit, Suffolk. No further information currently available.
HUNT	William Arthur	Private 18133, 7th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Killed in action 3 Juily 1916. Aged 39. Born Walsham-Le-Willows, Suffolk, enlisted Bury St Edmunds. Son of the late John and Betsy Hunt, of Rattlesden, Suffolk; husband of Amelia Hunt, of Wetherden, Stowmarket, Suffolk. No known grave. Commemorated on THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France. POLLARD	John Ralph	Private O/4883, 51st Mobile Workshops, Royal Army Ordnance Corps. Died 18 December 1918. Aged 28. Son of John and Emma Pollard; husband of Katie Pollard, of The Bungalow, Shelland, Harleston Green, Stowmarket. Born at Onehouse, Suffolk. Buried in MIKRA BRITISH CEMETERY, KALAMARIA, Greece. Grave 1053.
