These memorials are separate to the Stowmarket memorial gates. The Stowmarket Parish war memorials are to be found in St Peter and St Mary's Church, Church Walk, Stowmarket, Suffolk. The World War 1 memorial takes the form of a wooden altar there are five piciture panels in the centre under which is the inscription and the altar base, on each flank are the two name panels containing 81 names. The World War 2 memorial is in the form of a framed and glazed roll of honour, hanging on the wall in the south aisle, with the town coat of arms on the top centre with the lettering in black, blue and red; it was made by J S T Trodd and it was unveiled in 1951; there are 69 names listed.
