The
memorial is to be found on Village Street, Witnesham and takes the form
of a Celtic cross made of stone on a stepped base in a small corner
plot on the approach to the Parish Church. There are 13 names for World
War 1 and 3 for World War 2 plus 1 man for Cyprus. There is also a mmeorial
within Witnesham Parish Church, Church Lane, Witnesham, which takes
the form of a grey marble on black background plaque listing those who
died in the First World War (13 names) and the Second World War (3 names).
