SHALFORD WAR MEMORIAL

World War 1 - Detailed information
Compiled & Copyright © Mick Tilley 2007

The war memorial is a cross on the village green right beside the busy A281 road into Guildford. Probably because of the traffic, it is now somewhat difficult to read so the following transcription is from a plaque for the First World War in the nearby church.
