The Little Horsted War Memorial is to be found in the gounds of St Michael and All Angels Church, Little Hiorsted, and takes the form of a wooden shrine standing in the churchyard facing out towards the road. Therer are six names listed for World War 1 only.

GREAT WAR 1914-1919

CURTIS	Ernest Golds	Sergeant E/1395, “E” Company , 17th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers. 2nd Division. Killed in action during the March Retreat 23 March 1918. Aged 28. Son of Frank George & Agnes Curtis of Hunningtons Farm, Little Horsted. Born in Charlwood, Surrey and enlisted in Whyteleafe, Surrey. Commemorated on Arras Memorial, Pas de Calais, France.
DRIVER	Collis	Driver 9737, 16th Battery, Royal Field Artillery. Died of wounds 5 October 1918. Aged 22. Son of Mr & Mrs Charles Driver of Uckfield, husband of Constance Driver, of Eastbourne. Included on Eastbourne and Uckfield Parish Church Memorials. Born in Framfield and enlisted in Lewes. Buried in Grevillers British Cemetery
FRENCH	Frederick	Private, G/14711, 6th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment. 12th Division. Died of wounds at home 16 September 18. Aged 41. Son of Mr French and Mary Jane French of Little Horsted Born in East Hoathly and enlisted in Uckfield. Buried in St. Michaels Churchyard, Little Horsted.
SMITH	Walter	Private SD/473, 12th Battalion, Royal Sussex Regiment. 39th Division. Killed in action 25 May 1916. Aged 33. Son of Mr & Mrs Walter Smith of High Cross, Little Horsted. Born in Framfield and enlisted in Uckfield. Buried in Guards Cemetery, Windy Corner
THORNTON	Robert West	Lieutenant, 4th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers. 3rd Division. Killed in action at Bellewaarde near Ypres 16 June 1915 Aged 19. Son of Major Robert Lawrence Thornton ,CBE, DL, JP, and Mrs Charlotte Thornton JP, of High Cross, Framfield. Included on Framfield Parish War Memorial. Commemorated on The Menin Gate Memorial Ypres, Belgium.
WREN	Herbert	Trooper 6651, 5th Royal Irish Lancers. 2nd Cavalry Division. Died in military hospital in Abbeville 5 November 1918. Aged 29. Son of Thomas & Harriett Elizabeth Wren of Little Horsted. Born Framfield and enlisted in Brighton. Buried in Abbeville Communal Cemetery Extension.
